Araceli Damián, representative of the National Regeneration Movement (Morena), informed that the parents of the 43 missing students of Ayotzinapa, as well as the family of Julio César Mondragón, delivered letters addressed to congresswoman Guadalupe Murguía, a member of the National Action Party who chairs the Special Commission that follows up the investigations on this case, expressing their desire to appear before the House of Representatives to demand justice in the case.

“It would be good if the Chamber authorized this event to take place in the first half of February," Damián said.

Julio César Mondragón is the 22-year-old student who was found dead in the city of Iguala on Sept. 27, 2014, the morning after the disappearances of his classmates.
