Two neurologists from Cuba and Costa Rica will evaluate the treatment and recovery prospects of Aldo Gutiérrez Solano, who has severe neurological damage and is in a coma after the violent events of September 26, 2014 in Iguala, Guerrero.
The Executive Committee for Victims (CEAV) informed that Dr. Calixto Machado, neurologist of the Cuban Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery, and Mauricio Chinchilla, a Costa Rican neurologist, will arrive in Mexico City on October 26.
The doctors were recommended by Aldo's family.
Aldo, 20, is in comma since a bullet went through his brain. Even though his eyes are open, he stares at the ceiling and has no control over his movements.
