Mexican Ministry of Defense (SEDENA) invests in state-of-the-art protective military clothing. The vests comply with the Mexican Official Norm (NOM) 166 as well as with the NIJO101-V6 Norm of the U.S. National Institute of Justice.

Vests have a three-kilogram weigh reduction per unit, which amounts to a 21% reduction over previous models, and are in full compliance with ISO-9001 international safety standards

Vests are tested in the only ballistics testing laboratory certified in Latin America, located in Iztapalapa, Mexico City.

Panels used for tailoring the vests provide protection for weapons of various levels ranging from short range weapons (2A-3A protective levels) to level 3 and 4 vests best suited against an AK-47 machine gun.
