( Pemex ) has become the most valuable brand in Latin America , according to Brand Finance , an independent branded business valuation consultancy in London, England.

Brand Finance annual report on the world’s most valuable brands 

placed Pemex as Mexico’s most valuable brand at USD$8.477 billion and as Latin America’s most valuable brand for 2018 ranking 190th out of more than 3,500 companies.

Pemex jockeyed for the top position despite the challenges it has been facing as global players race into a deregulated Mexican market.

Pemex became the most important brand in the country for its financial statements and for the deep roots it develops in the communities in which it operates, assured Carlos Alberto Treviño Medina CEO of Petróleos Mexicanos .

Amazon

became the world's most valuable brand valued at USD$150.8 billion while Samsung became once again Asia’s most valuable brand at USD$92.3 billion .

Mercedes-Benz

is the most valuable brand in Europe at US$43.9 billion , ranking 15th place worldwide while Telstra stands out as the leader in Australia at USD$12.4 billion .
