The State of Mexico

won 66 medals , 25 gold, 30 silver, and 11 bronze, in the swimming competitions of the National Paralympic Games Colima 2018.

During its first stage, wheelchair sports associations , athletes with cerebral palsy and blind and visually impaired athletes participated.

Natalia González Guemez

won 6 gold medals, in the 50, 100 and 400 meters freestyle tests, 100 backstroke, 100 butterfly and 200 combined, on the 13-15 years category, S9 classification.

Oscar Gerardo Castro Resendiz

, won 5 gold medals in 50, 100 and 200 meters freestyle, 200 combined and 50 backstroke, in the 19-21 years category, S5 classification.

Alberto Rodriguez,

won 3 gold medals, in the 50 and 100 meters freestyle and 50 meters chest in the 16-18 years category, S4 classification.

These three athletes from the State of Mexico , together with other athletes, will continue their preparation, as the classification processes for the Para-Panamerican Games in Lima, Peru 2019 , begins in November.

On the other hand, the State of Mexico 's delegations of wheelchair basketball sports dance, and athletics, in the junior category, are reportedly ready to start their participation in the games.
