Expo will show the attractions of Mexico City's boroughs

50 restaurants will offer tastings of traditional or famous dishes

From August 17 to 19, the first edition of Borough Expo (Expo Delegaciones) will take place. In the event, each of the boroughs of Mexico City will promote their best attractions, traditions, and gastronomy.

The Expo will be held in Expo Reforma building (Morelos 67). It will be a six-floor exposition in which there will be a series of thematic halls.

Regarding the gastronomic aspect of the Expo, 50 restaurants will offer tastings of traditional or famous dishes. Among them, there will be mole from Milpa Alta, enchiladas from Iztapalapa and Amaranth desserts from Xochimilco.

Each borough will have a half an hour presentation per day. It will be a brief concert, conference or dance show. The schedule will change every day.

The program will include a talk about the history of Iztacalco, a violin ensemble organized by Tláhuac and a play organized by Iztapalapa.
