Eggs

are a basic ingredient in Mexican gastronomy . They are an essential part of breakfast and they are easily included in other dishes. E ggs are not only delicious , but they also have great health benefits .

According to José Antonio Quintana , an academic from Mexico's National Autonomous University (UNAM) , “ Eggs are one of the most valuable and nutritious foods. It's a perfect product because it contains proteins , lipids , vitamins , minerals , and it's cheap.”

The researcher from the Faculty of Veterinary and Zoological Medicine is basing on a study published by U.S. researches ; which consisted in feeding low-income children in Chihuahua and Sonora an egg every day. After a month, the children's IQ increased compared to those who didn't eat an egg every day.

And although there are myths that claim that eating eggs can affect your cholesterol levels , the teachers say “eating them is not harmful, unless you eat 5 to 6 eggs a day.”

It's highly recommended to add eggs to your daily diet , as it contains many nutrients and it also increases your IQ.
