's streets looked normal. Cars went by Av. De la Paz, in the Chimalistac neighborhood; others went by Reforma , next to the La Bombilla park, until the red light came on.

All of a sudden there were dancers all over the streets . Some wore tutus , Spanish costumes , and some other dressed as dolls to dance to the “ Cascanuecesballet ( The Nutcracker ). The streets and pedestrian crossings turned into the perfect scenario to interpret ballet , to take the passer-byes through an incredible dance experience.

This year, 10 groups are expected to perform , they will invite the public to be part of the show, and see how art can generate peace . The shows will take place from July 14 and until September 2.

This urban show was part of the 9th edition of the project Theater in public spaces, Theater in your neighborhood 2018”. Since 2013, this project has brought the public closer to scenic arts in public spaces like gardens, and pedestrian crossings.

The Ardentía Contemporary Dance Company and other companies will perform dance, cabaret, music and dance shows in different areas of Mexico City.

The shows include plays by William Shakespeare, Sergio Eckstein, Edgar Chías, and Borís Schoemann.
