DiCaprio meets Peña Nieto in Los Pinos to save tiny porpoise

The American actor, Leonardo DiCaprio, met this Wednesday Enrique Peña Nieto in the official residence of the Mexican President.

DiCaprio discussed environmental issues with Peña Nieto.

The actor is also an environmental activist and has promoted a campaign to save the tiny porpoise from extinction.

On May 11, the Oscar-winning actor asked the President through his Instagram account to take actions to prevent the endangered species from disappearing.

Apart from his meeting with Peña Nieto, DiCaprio met businessman Carlos Slim to further the actions already taken by the Mexican government, like safety measures and fishing bans.
