U2 announces concert in Mexico

The Irish band is celebrating the 30th anniversary of their emblematic album, The Joshua Tree

The band U2 will return to Mexico with their "U2 Joshua Tree Tour 2017". The Irish band will visit Mexico with a show announced at Foro Sol on October 3. The dates announced include their return to the United States with concerts in Detroit, Buffalo, Minneapolis, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Saint Louis and San Diego.The tour will continue in Mexico City, followed by Bogota, Buenos Aires, Santiago and Sao Paulo.

U2 is celebrating 30 years of the release of their emblematic album, The Joshua Tree. According to a press release, along with the 11-track album, the 30th-anniversary edition features a live recording of the concert at Madison Square Garden's 1987 tour plus rarities and B-sides.

U2 Joshua Tree Tour 2017 will kick off on July 1 in the United States, will continue in London on July 8 and 9, with subsequent performances in Berlin, Rome, Barcelona, Dublin, Paris, Amsterdam and Brussels. Then they will return to the United States on July 3.

In Mexico and South America, Noel Gallagher, founder of Oasis and High Flying Birds, has been confirmed as a special guest for all dates.
