Will AMLO redeem former collaborator Bejarano?

Dominant tribes within left Revolutionary Democratic Party (PRD) scorn the stand of René Bejarano, leader of the National Democratic Left (IDN), and that of his wife, Dolores Padierna, against the approval of the Revolutionary Democratic Party (PRD) to create a Extended Democratic Opposition Front for the General election of 2018. We are told that professor Bejarano and Ms. Padierna are exercising their right to express emotional outbursts so as to be considered for the candidacy give away of next year. However, we are also told that their opposition to said front is not as strong considering that within their party people feel both Bejarano and Padierna are ready to join the ranks of far- left National Regeneration Party (MORENA) led by Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO). We are yet to see if the politician from Tabasco opens the gates of his reign to Bejarano and his wife, the same which he closed since the scandalous images 13 years ago regarding the video scandal exposing corruption links.

At ease, as if she were alien to any form of legal accountability, the former congresswoman, Eva Cadena who was recently stripped of her political privileges, dined at a restaurant in Paseo de la Reforma Avenue in Mexico City, very close to the headquarters of the Attorney General’s Office. A native of Veracruz, Eva Cadena, who came to be known as the Collector of far- left National Regeneration Party (MORENA), noted in a release that the federal authorities cannot arrest her despite her losing her political privileges. It is still unknown whether she has legal protection against her arrest after been videotaped receiving money, the truth is that she claims that there is no arrest warrant against her and until yesterday’s afternoon she was as cool as ever.

Tarek Abadlá's removal of official immunity

To the Instructor Section of the Chamber of Deputies, led by Ricardo Ramírez Nieto of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), arrived the information that the Attorney General of Mexico filed an appeal against the legal protection that Tarek Abadlá, federal PRI deputy of Veracruz and Javier Duarte's former treasurer, currently has in the stock exchange, granted by the Fifth District Court. By the way, it is said that the legal protection is really important for the legislator since the document has allowed him to stop the process of removal of official immunity, which started in April. The Attorney General, of course, led by Raúl Cervantes, aims to bring down the legal protection which protects Tarek so that the Lower Chamber analyzes and votes the removal.

Ifigenia Martínez's birthday

Under the pretext of celebrating teacher Ifigenia Martínez's birthday, politicians Cuauhtémoc Cárdenas, Porfirio Muñoz Ledo and senators Dolores Padierna and Alejandro Encinas met yesterday in a restaurant located in Paseo de la Reforma. It is said that in the chatter came to light the necessity of constructing a left-wing front against the Democratic Revolution Party (PRD) Extended Democratic Opposition Front. The founders of the PRD expressed their disagreement regarding the alliance with the conservative National Action Party (PAN)  in the 2018 presidential election. For the moment, they resolved that there will be more meetings during the next days to define the path for next year's election.
