Sean Spicer, spokesman of the White House press office, announced the first meeting between the U.S. president and its Mexican counterpart for January 31.

The announcement was made this afternoon and did not specify whether the meeting would take place in Washington D.C.

Spicer noted that the topics to be discussed by both leaders would relate to trade, immigration and security affairs. The meeting will take place just a few days after the confirmed trip of senior Mexican staff to Washington next January 25 and 26.

For its part, the Mexican Government has yet to confirm the meeting between both leaders.

British prime minister, Theresa May, will be the first world leader received by U.S. president, Donald Trump, in Washington next January 27.
