Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto departed from Mexico City for a state visit to France, which will end on July 17.

Peña Nieto departed at 5:25 p.m. on board the presidential plane and is expected in 12 hours in France, after a scale in Gander, Canada.

The President is accompanied by the ministers of the Interior Miguel Ángel Osorio Chong; Taxes and Public Credit Luis Videgaray; Environment, Juan José Guerra Abud, and Economy, Ildefonso Guajardo Villarreal.

Also, the Ministers of Agriculture, Enrique Martínez y Martínez; Public Education, Emilio Chuayffet Chemor; Health, Mercedes Juan López, and Tourism, Claudia Ruiz Massieu Salinas, are coming along.

During this visit, framed by the National Day celebrations in France, the President will sign around 60 agreements and 20 legal instruments.

In his first day in France, he will participate in the Academic-Scientific Strategic Alliance Mexico-France event, along with the president of the Senate, Miguel Barbosa, and the dean of the National Autonomous University of Mexico, José Narro.
