Petróleos Mexicanos and the National Center for Energy Control (Cenace) will invest 560 million dollars to prevent the intrusion of cybercriminals and attacks on their computer systems, as well as to update and modernize its computer equipment.

 

The investment projects to be carried out starting this year are necessary to avoid jeopardizing the electrical service, they said.

 

While patrolling the internet, the Office of the National Security Commissioner has detected up to 20,835 incidents in data networks in a year, representing an average of 57 every day.
