Mayas take over Liverpool's World Museum

The exhibition "Mayas: Revelation of an endless time" will arrive in Liverpool with 385 stunning objects from Mexican museums and Maya sites, from striking funerary masks to intricate jade jewelry.  

This exhibition has been produced by the Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (INAH)  and is part of the 2015 'Year of Mexico in the United Kingdom' and 'Year of the United Kingdom in Mexico.' 

The ancient Maya was a Mesoamerican civilization that has left a far-reaching legacy of architectural, cultural and artistic achievements.

"Mayas: Revelation of an endless time" will be displayed at the World Museum in Liverpool from June 19 to October 18, 2015. Free Entry.
