Chile and Mexico tied at 3-3 in a thrilling encounter corresponding to the second day of the Group A of the Copa America, contested in Santiago de Chile and in which the locals took the lead on the second half.

Mexico, who took the lead twice in the marker, established the definitive tie well before the end of the game.

In the first half, Vicente Matías Vuoso made opened the score for Mexico 21 minutes into the match, and a minute and a half later came the tie with a head shot by Chilean Arturo Vidal.

On the 29 minute Mexican Raúl Jiménez got another head-shot to score the second goal for the visitors, while Eduardo Vargas got the tie on the 42.

The second half began with the third and final goal of Chile, marked by Vidal on a penalty shot on the 55, with Vuoso getting the final score of 3-3 eleven minutes later.
