King of Spain to visit Mexico from June 29 to July 1

The King and the Queen of Spain will visit Mexico from June 29 to July 1, Mexico's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.

This is the first state visit by Felipe VI of Spain to the Americas since he was proclaimed King of Spain in June 2014.

Spain is Mexico's seventh largest trade partner and ranks second in foreign investment after the United States. Between 2000 and 2013, Spain invested over 43 billion dollars in Mexico.
